REVIEW OF IMAGES

·         Name one strength of the images previewed.

 

It is clear to see what each image is being used for; they are not edited too much that you can not tell what they are being used for.

 

·         Name one Weakness of the images previewed.

 

Effects are basic and second image isn’t really used in the images. For sports and entertainment the scanned images are not used and for entertainment the photo is not used.

 

·         Comment on the Quality of graphics

 

All of the pictures are quite good quality and it is clear to see what they are. The quality of the image is not distorted by the editing.

 

·         Are the images suitable for purpose? (e.g used for the tourism booklet)

 

None of the pictures really show Newry so might not be best to show in a tourism booklet. Although all could be used in the booklet it would be nice to see more of the city in the pictures if it is to highlight the good side of the city. The sport and season images might benefit from some more effects to enhance the picture further. The Seasons image could benefit from overlays that are related to the season.

 

·         What do you think of the use of Typography or Imagery used?

 

All of the typography used is good; all the fonts that are used clearly are visible and the colours used suit each picture. The images are good; the picture used for sports is nice although it would be nice to have more effects used on the image. Such as sport related overlays or other pictures added.
