1.What is new & emerging technology

 New and emerging technology is technology that is either being announced and produced and perfected in design. New and emerging technology basically the announcement of products that use new and revolutionally technology. These technologies are used by different companies in order to compete against each other such as apple with the I-phone 5s and Samsung with the galaxy S4. Most people are mainly focusing on mobile phone technology because it is constantly advancing and people are coming up with entirely new concepts for phone but there are many other types of products such as laptops and televisions which are also advancing with their concepts and technologies.

New and emerging technologies have a very wide range, and the product can range from anything from televisions and laptops all the way to toasters and microwaves. But unlike toasters and microwaves laptops can have more than five options and features and also laptops are constantly advancing their technology in operating systems and the hardware and software to make the laptop run faster and more efficiently. This is essentially what all types of computers and nearly all types of products are trying to achieve.

Mobile phones

When mobile phones were brand new they were the size of bricks, ridiculously expensive, and all you could do with them was make phone calls, and they did what they were intended to do. Then mobile phones began to shrink in size, and sending a text message rather than making a phone call arrived, then the pay as you go phone to run alongside the more expensive contracts, and now mobiles are everywhere. Since then, the mobile has advanced in great leaps. These days it seems as if almost everyone owns one and it seems that nearly every month there are more advances in mobile phone technology. It has an operating system, just like a computer, and you can use it as a phone, an entertainment centre, e-mail to and from it, and work on documents you download to it from your computer and upload them again. Generally it will have a proper keyboard, either built into the set on or the screen.

The BlackBerry, the iPhone, and Google’s Android phone are probably the best-known examples of smartphones. They’ve found greater popularity with the public, especially the iPhone.

Phones these days are very useful when it comes to digital graphics for a wide variety of reasons, the first that comes to mind are the large screens which come with very high definition for looking at graphics and also there are many different applications on the phones which can be used to edit digital graphics, one of these applications includes the phone version of photoshop and with this app we can do nearly all of the same things that we can do with the computer version of adobe photoshop.  
 

 Tablets

Tablets have become very popular, very fast and because of this there are more and more tablets being mass produced and this means that there are more companies becoming involved with new designs and new concepts for tablets. The main competitors for top tablet are
