Canvas size	You are able to change the size of the canvas easily. It gives you the option to change height and width in cm.	You are also able to change the size of the canvas easily. You can choose to use 100% of the picture or not. It does not have an actual measurement like word.
Saving options	It is very easy to save your file with Word. Like PicMonkey, you can choose your file name and your file format you want. Although you are not able change the file quality.	To save a picture you can change the file name and choose between a jpg or png file type. You can then choose the quality of the picture which affects the file size.
Colour adjustments	You are able to change the contrast and the brightness of the picture.	You can change the brightness of the image. You can change different parts of the picture you want to be affected.
Filters	You can filter your image in Word easily by using the recolour feature that can enable you to change the colour to what you want.	You can use the filters to create different affects like if you wanted to dim the image or add a tint of colour.
Cropping	It is very easy to crop in word. If there was a part of the image you did not want, you are able to crop it out.	This works the same way as Word. You are able to crop out a part of the picture you do not want.
Image resolution	In Word you are able to change the image resolution easily by changing the size of the image.	You are able to lower the image resolution by making the image bigger which results in lower image detail and vise versa.
Text Manipulation	You can add different text to your image. When you have added the text, you can further manipulate it by changing the colour and the size.	You can also add text to the image easily. You can add a variety of different font styles, the size and the colour. You can then move the text where you want it.
Selecting Objects	In Word you get 3 main ways you can select your objects. You can select the whole object, crop it and grouping different objects.	You are able to crop and add text but there is no real option to sect the object. You are able to add in another image as well.
